Kevin's books for clave, beginners, bass, piano, drums & timbales, and ensemble. PLus a blog where you can keep up on his latest crazy projects.

The Beyond Salsa Bass book is most useful for beginner.

    Kevin's books are just fantastic!
I'm waiting for the announced book for ensemble, part two!
Hope he finds the time to finish it one day soon!

Here is the video teaser for "Beyond Salsa Bass Vol 3 Salsa, Songo and The Roots of Latin Jazz". This is the longest book with a lot of history and a lot of NY & PR salsa as well as Cuban music. Not the longest video though :) only 9 minutes y pico

very informative. the only reason I haven't bought any of them yet is I'm still knee deep in rebecca's books. I'm trying to master every nook and cranny of those, especially the 101 montunos.
