Are you saying there are no videos online of teachers showing great musicality while dancing?
Because that's what this is. A demonstration of him...
All I see is move after move after move. With not much regard to what happens in the music. And this comes back in all his clips I have seen.
My favourite: salsaforums.com :D
As long as there is physical contact, there is a connection that you can use to lead the follow.
Of course, this does not mean that...
It's good connection that will give you the opportunity to make your leading soft.
A good frame from both lead and follow are required for this....
Unfortunately, years on the dance floor doesn't say anything about the ability to dance.
How about say "No thank you" each time she asks?
She will get it eventually.
There are to many websites? :D
Yesterday I danced in something similar to this:
The matching leather motorcycle pants made it damn hot :D
How about 0 beats? Sometimes, stuff just happens :)
If I ever get married, the first dance will be Buena Vista Social Club's Chan Chan.
I am not sure if it meets with your dancing requirements.
Do as the Visigoths did?
Then maybe leads should first learn how to dance before they learn how to lead.
Maybe because they can't do a proper body roll? :muted:
I know how to make connection with a partner. But I fail to see how you would call that 'moving forward'.
In argentinian tango the follow moves...
That is what I always thought.
But it was stated that the video shows a DQN as done in casino.
Which made me to believe that the video shows us...
What I noticed in the video of 47, 60's, 50's Pierre and Lavelle, was that girls are sometimes let backwards (especially in closed position).
Some people make this stuff to much into a science
I guess that is what you get when science people try to understand art forms.
In March, I'll be going to this small cuban congress in the Netherlands: http://www.dance4two.nl/rondreis/viva-cuba-biezenmortel
Well, not in the couple next to you, that's sure :D
